Christian Schirlbauer, born in Salzburg, is an experienced tourism manager with extensive expertise in international marketing initiatives, personnel management, and project management. He currently leads the Tourism Board of Inneres Salzkammergut, which includes Hallstatt, where he has successfully driven the transformation into a service organization and managed the challenges of the COVID-19 crisis. Additionally, he serves as the Secretary General of BÖTM – the Association of Austrian Tourism Managers, which encompasses around 120 tourism associations across Austria. Previously, he was the Tourism Director of the Attersee-Salzkammergut Tourism Association, where he initiated numerous marketing campaigns and tourism projects and secured funding.
